PAFF Announces Call for Volunteers and Community Collaborators
The Pan African Film and Arts Festival (PAFF), America’s largest and most prestigious Black film and arts festival has announced its annual call for volunteers and community collaborators. Taking place February 10-15, 2010 in Los Angeles, the PAFF was established in 1992, as a non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion of cultural and racial tolerance and understanding through the exhibition of film, art and creative expression. Each year the PAFF presents and showcases a broad spectrum of Black creative works, particularly those that reinforce positive images and help to destroy negative stereotypes of Africans and African-Americans.
Entries for the 2010 African Movie Awards

The African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) have released guidelines for the 2010 edition of the awards billed to hold in Yenagoa, the capital of the oil-rich but politically volatile Niger Delta state of Bayelsa, on 2010 April 10.
