**Los Angeles Premiere**

In 1982, a father, whose wife succumbs to a crack cocaine addiction, struggles to protect his gifted daughter from the insidious crack epidemic in Philadelphia. As his wife becomes distant, unreliable and eventually addicted, he strives to help her while struggling as a de facto single parent to raise his daughter. In the process, he learns some hard truths about his marriage and his life, which will ultimately test him as a parent, a husband and a man. A thoughtful and measured insight into the affects of addiction on a family. Strong performances by Hill Harper and Sharon Leal create a thoughtful and measured insight, preventing the story from slipping into melodrama. Stars Hill Harper, Sharon Leal, Wayne Brady, La La Anthony, Ruby Dee, Bokeem Woodbine and newcomer Troi Zee.
