Media Credentials
The Communications staff of The Pan African Film and Arts Festival will do everything in its power to credential as many media outlets as space will allow. However, the theater has very limited space available. Due to the overwhelming amount of interest, we will not be able to accommodate everyone. We would appreciate your cooperation in keeping your requests to a minimum.
APPLYING FOR 2011 MEDIA CREDENTIALS
The PAFF will begin accepting media credentials for its 2011 festival in November 2010.
GUIDELINES & RULES
- PAFF Media Credentials do not guarantee seating for any screenings.
- PAFF Media is seated on a space availability only, no exceptions.
- No recording devices are permitted in the theater without prior approval. Theater security will be monitoring all press and will ask violators to leave. This is the theater’s rule, not PAFF’s, so please don’t ask us to change it.
- PAFF Media Credentials are not transferable under any circumstances. Violation of this rule will result in an automatic revoke of your credential.
- Plan ahead. If there is a film that you want to cover, go to the theater early and check in at the PAFF table. PAFF will make every effort possible to accommodate you once the PAFF ticket holders are seated and if there is space available.
- Media cannot get into screenings without a physical ticket, so arrive early, and check in.
- Only PAFF pre-approved media will be allowed to enter PAFF red carpet events. All other media’s coverage is extended to the red carpet only, no exceptions.
The Pan African Film and Arts Festival will not accept any requests made via phone, fax, mail, or email. All requests must be submitted via our online form. NO FAXES, EMAILS, OR MAILED COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No exceptions. If your organization is planning to submit multiple credential requests, please designate a “credential manager” to log in and make all of the submissions for your organization.
