Aniya is drowning in the monotony of life, combating negativity from her boss, boyfriend and castmates, while still pursuing her dream of becoming an actress. She discovers her ability to control noise with a magical remote and becomes drunk with power, muting those around her, amplifying the noise in her own head. The climax comes when she cracks under the noise and pressure of her big debut, breaks the remote, and realizes the real control always lay within her.
