Part one of "The Love Cycle," a collection of four films chronicling the rituals and meanings of Black love while revealing the extraordinary and poetic moments that mark everyday Black life. Featuring stunningly beautiful Chicago vistas and an imaginative use of the geography of the streets, LOVE LIKE WINTER follows star-crossed former lovers who unexpectedly reconnect after ten years apart. Over one magical afternoon, they confront their shared history, relive old memories, and rediscover their special chemistry.
