synopsis

A young Black actress tries to navigate working in the former Capital of the Confederacy, Richmond, Virginia, a market known for period pieces and historical tours. But she has a tough time reconciling the degrading roles she has to play with her modern conception of what it means to be a Black woman in America. A film about identity, legacy, and representation.
