Story creates how we are known in the world, treated in the world, cherished in the world. Therefore, it is of paramount importance we tell our own stories.

Since 1992, the Pan African Film and Arts Festival (PAFF) provides a safe space for creative expression of the Black narrative though film, art, poetry, music—and digital storytelling.

This year’s festival theme, “AMPAFFIED” will amplify the voices of a new generation of storytellers who are empowered to tell “Our Stories, Our Journey and Our Future.”

We’ve created the hashtag #IAMPAFF to create a social bridge between our diverse Pan-African communities. Please contribute to our story by using our meme generator to share your journey.
