2026 FESTIVAL dates

february 9-16

For 33 years, the Pan African Film & Arts Festival (PAFF) has celebrated Pan African culture and creativity,
showing that dreams alone aren’t enough for greatness. PAFF highlighted the passion and perseverance
needed to turn dreams into reality, featuring stories of filmmakers, actors, and artists who overcame adversity.

Looking ahead to 2026, the 34th PAFF is a call to dream big, pursue relentlessly, and achieve greatness.

Founded in 1992 by Danny Glover, Ja’Net DuBois, and Ayuko Babu, PAFF has grown into America’s largest
and most prestigious Black film festival, screening over 200 films annually. Touted as America’s largest Black
History Month event, it’s an Oscar-qualifying festival that champions global Black creativity.

Join us at the 2026 PAFF as we honor our founders’ legacy and inspire future generations to DREAM BEYOND the unimaginable.

At the Pan African Film & Arts Festival, we believe in forging sponsorships that transcend traditional partnerships. We create powerful alliances that fulfill the goals of our sponsors while elevating the aspirations of PAFF and our diverse audience. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of opportunities—from immersive corporate experiences to expansive marketing exposure and prestigious naming rights—all designed to help you Dream Big, Dream Bold with us.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

PAFF YEAR ROUND

PAFF isn’t just a festival—it’s a movement. Throughout the year, we bring the spirit of the Pan African Film & Arts Festival to cities across the country through special screenings, community events, advanced film previews, and cultural collaborations. These year-round events spotlight the voices of the African diaspora, foster dialogue, and create space for connection, creativity, and celebration. Whether it’s a pop-up in Austin, a filmmaker Q&A in Atlanta, or a summer screening under the stars in L.A., PAFF continues to amplify Black stories, one city—and one story—at a time.

The PAFF Institute acts as a dynamic platform for industry leaders, cultural icons, and thought leaders to share their insights. Through panel discussions and talks, the Institute aims to educate and inspire thousands of attendees, offering them opportunities for personal and professional growth. This is an ideal space for brands to educate the audience about their integration within the film and TV industry.
