THE Austin Film Society (AFS) welcomes Los Angeles’ famed Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) for its fourth annual Austin series, presenting a selection of the most acclaimed films from PAFF’s February festival. 

Purchase a PAFF pass for tickets to all six PAFF screenings, taking place Thursday, July 30–Saturday, August 2, and receive 25% off the full ticket purchase price. AFS Members receive additional discounts on passes and individual tickets. The PAFF pass includes one ticket to each film screening and the opening-night reception.

PAFF is proud to partner with the AFS to bring the spirit of PAFF to Texas through a powerful cultural collaboration. Together, PAFF and AFS curate dynamic screenings, filmmaker conversations, and community-driven events that spotlight the richness and diversity of global Black cinema. This partnership bridges creative communities across regions, offering Austin audiences an opportunity to engage with groundbreaking films from the African diaspora, while expanding PAFF’s year-round mission to celebrate and amplify Black stories beyond Los Angeles.
